Fashion school uniform. Classic, funky, fresh.

This is the look I created for my collab video with Beth Jones form B. Jones Style and the three other fabulous ladies! Make sure to go check my Instagram to follow them all. I will link the “How to wear midi skirts for every body type” video here. This video was so fun to do and it definitely go me out of my comfort zone. And I am so thankful for all of my new followers! Welcome!

When Beth contacted me about doing the video I immediately sad Heck YES! and started outfit planning in my head. I originally wanted to see if I could find something “new” (thrifted of course) to style up but I went to a few different stores and I didn’t find anything. I did find a lot of other amazing pieces but not a midi skirt. Of course. As I was shopping and nearing the end of my day I thought well, I do have this skirt I wear all the time. I can just use that and style it up in a completely new and different way. As that thought processed I was even more excited. One thing I love doing and showing all of you is how to wear one piece multiple ways. And that even thrift store finds can be staples in your wardrobe that you reach for over and over again. Like this skirt.

And here is the LOOK! I love how it turned out and is true to my style. Red, of course, a little funky, and little chic, and a whole lotta ME!

This look was 100% inspired, okay, totally copied form Annette from A Vintage Splendor (she’s amazing, go check her out!) while she was doing her 31 days of jeans. I love when you see a outfit that gives you all the feels and everything just falls into place. I already had the top. I found this green striped one a few years ago at Salvation Army and shortly after I saw Annete pair a striped top with a striped blazer I just happened to see this blazer on sale from H&M. Okay, so I bought it. Duh. Perfect price, perfect fit. This will obviously be a staple in my closet. My favorite vintage Eddie Bauer high waisted jeans and some simple strappy sandals from Zara completed the look with ease. Btw these Zara heels are perfection. So chic and classic. I love how the look with the raw hem on the jeans. Always have to edge up the classic pieces!
