country chic

For some reason when I looked in the mirror after getting dressed I felt like a country gal gone city. Still in touch with her roots, but she's now after bigger things than what life has to offer in her small town home town. Maybe it's the hat, maybe it's the shirt tucked in. I don't know. I think I've said this before, but that's one reason I love fashion. It can make you feel a certain way, bring back memories, make you excited, tell a story, a way to truly express who you are without even speaking.

Now time for the outfit breakdown... Every pair of jeans I buy I have to cut the bottoms. It adds a little bit of edge and keeps an outfit from looking to "done". Does that even make sense? I don't like anything to look too proper. The lacy top is a little revealing and makes the look a little sexier. I always love to add a bit of sexiness to a look. Because, why not? A hat is always a good accessory. To me they seem to just finish a look off with ease. And heels, they lift that booty and make your legs look longer. All my favorite items in one look! This may be my new dress code.
