winter wear (in the south)

Shirt- Madewell (found this at Salvation Army for $2, i think i cried),
Jacket- Rubbish via Nordstrom, Jeans- Forever 21, Belt- Target, Shoes- Dolce Vita (similar here), Purse- Brahmin (similar here), Sunglasses- American Eagle (similar here), Scarf- Kohl's

Its December, 6th already. Growing up in the north i feel like i should have a parka and snow boots on. It's almost Christmas time and what i have on above even feels like too much. Its tough for me to get into the holiday spirit when its still sunny and 80 degrees this time of year. At night it does get a little chilly, so this is the perfect option for a date night or night out with friends.

On another note, i found this chambray shirt yesterday at Salvation Army for 2 dollars!! Yes, 2 dollars. Its still on the Madewell website right now for 75 dollars. Insane i know. This shirt is so easy to style, and totally comfy. I already have a few chambray shirts, but i had to add this one to the collection.

How do you guys get in the holiday spirit when it seems too tough? (especially if you are a northerner like me, living in the south)

Happy Holidays!

(p.s. please excuse the obnoxious amount of pictures with my cats in them. we let them out in our backyard during the day and they wouldn't stop bothering me. i love them.)
