dressing for fall

Top - Target, Skirt - BCBGeneration (thrifted), Heels - Rock and Republic via Kohl's,
Purse - Kate Spade, Bracelets - Thrifted, Necklaces - Forever21 and Thrifted

This is what i would call my fall weather attire. When you live in Florida, its hard to dress "fall like" especially around this time of the year. In most states it starts to cool down, here the weather seems to stay the same as in the summer months, with the occasional night of cool weather.

One way to take your look from the summer days to the new season is to incorporate darker colors into your wardrobe, while still using less layers. I usually am attracted to bright, fun, and colorful clothing, but recently i find myself gravitating towards the darker side.

This look i paired my faux leather mini with my grey sweater like top. It's so soft and can be transitioned into a casual look or more dressy look, like i did here. I tied the knot to give the sweater some shape, and add a little something extra (the tied look i have been LOVING recently) The white pumps were the perfect choice to compliment the dark skirt. Lastly i threw on my trusty chain necklace, it always adds the perfect amount of edge, and all the gold bracelets i could find to tie everything together.

Happy Monday!
