I wanted to title this post army chic but then I realized soldiers don't wear dresses, so I went with black and brown. Most people don't think of pairing these two colors together, to some it is even thought of as a big "no-no". Today I show you that if you do it the right way you can pair black and brown together in a casual chic way. This dress was the base of the outfit. It is so flattering and I know I can style it many different ways. Plus, it was only $15! Woo woo! Here I styled it casual, but when paired with a sparkly statement necklace and strappy heels it would be perfect for a dressy event. The brown belt ties together with the brown bag, and the wood accent in the necklace. I threw a green army style vest to finish off the look and to bring another color in. It was perfect for the vibe I wanted to give off. Casual and chic.
Would you ever try black and brown paired together? Or is it still a "no-no" for you?
