In this series I will be showing you two ways to style a simple striped dress from Old Navy. This particular style was only $15 during an in-store promotion, when all dresses were half off. I was immediately drawn to this style because of the classic stripe print, we all know I love a good stripe, and the shape of the dress. I knew it was going to be flattering on my shape. I'm telling you ladies, this style dress every curvy gal needs. It cinches in at the perfect spot on your waist and flares out giving the illusion of a slim figure. Today I am showing you how easy it is to wear this dress in a casual way. I've always loved the look of dresses with chucks. It gives off that effortless cool girl vibe. Like, yeah I can totally rock tennis shoes with a dress and still look chic. I added the chambray to break up the bottom from the top, and give some warmth. Also, chambray pairs so well with stripes! The straw hat and sunnies kept me protected form the sun. Last but not least the tote/purse that I LOVE, is perfect for toting around all my everyday essentials. This look was perfect for a day of errands, and running our favorite theme park, Magic Kingdom!
What do you think of dresses styled with tennis shoes?
Check back for part 2 tomorrow when I show you how to style this dress in the complete opposite direction. A night out on the town!
