A little boho, a little edgy, and a lot of chic.
A lot of times curvy girls are told that a loose top can make you appear bigger than you really are, and sometimes that is true... but with a loose top that still has a shape and is the right size it can actually make you look slimmer than expected. It's all about proportion. A loose top and fitted bottoms - weather it be a pair of skinnies or shorts, make for a perfect ensemble for curvy gals like myself. And really perfect for those days we like to leave the button on our pants undone after a big meal. You know you do it.
Here I paired this Max Studio (a brand I have loved since high school, and am so excited to see in TJMaxx) top with a pair of distressed boyfriend style denim shorts, chunky heels, and a bright mini cross body. I added a pretty gold snake-like necklace, and a panama hat for some fun.
Curvy girls can have fun with fashion too! I honestly don't let anybody tell me I can't wear something because of my size. If I feel comfortable and love what I see when I look in the mirror I'm not takin' it off!
C and I are in Michigan right now enjoying some time with family and friends. We will be here for almost two weeks and I am so grateful that we are able to do things like this. So get ready for some vacation looks and lots of pictures :)
